As the Organizer and Host of the event, it is our pleasure to invite you and your team to the 8^th ACI Asia-Pacific Small Airports Seminar. This year, the Seminar will be held at the Novotel Hyderabad Airport, Hyderabad, India from 7 to 10 November 2012.

The theme of this year’s seminar is “Re-engineering Airport Economics”. This theme was chosen because we believe that in this dynamic aviation industry, to achieve success, airports must understand the evolving business environment and adapt by making changes to their business strategies. It is crucial, especially for small airports to re-think about the economic aspects of their business in order to sail through the turbulent global market.

This year’s seminar comprises five sessions focusing on the following topics:

• Regulatory & Finance: Economic Expectations of Stakeholders
• Economic Growth at Airports through Cargo Traffic
• Non-aero Innovations:  Attaining Economic Freedom
• Attracting Airlines to Airports: An Economic Perspective
• Building a Competitive Advantage through Effective Manpower Development

In addition, there will be a CEO Forum where a panel of aviation chiefs from the region has been invited to discuss common aviation issues and challenges. The 2nd ACI Asia-Pacific Small Airports Network Meeting will also be held during the Seminar on 9th November 2012. Last but not least, we have arranged a city tour on 10^th November 2012 to allow all delegates to experience the beauty of the “City of Pearls and Palaces” after the comprehensive seminar.
