Abu Dhabi International Airport sees passenger traffic increase by 9.2% in July - 24/08/2010
Abu Dhabi, August 24, 2010 - Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) today announced the results of its monthly traffic report, which shows an increase of 9.2% in passenger traffic for the month of July 2010, over the same month in the previous year. For the first time in the airport’s history, more than one million passengers travelled through the airport in any one single month. Aircraft movements increased by 10.1%, while cargo traffic increased by 12.3%, with a total of 36,755 tons transported through the airport.

ADAC rolls out summer safety campaign for outdoor staff - 07/07/2010
Abu Dhabi, 7 July 2010 - Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is rolling out a series of heat awareness seminars to advice all personnel working outdoors on how to stay safe during the summer season. With an aim to reduce the risk of heat-related health issues, the seminars, entitled “Key to working safely in and around heat”, will teach staff about preventative measures, as well as how to spot early indicators of heat stress.

Finnair to return to Changi Airport - 01/07/2010
