The Asia-Pacific Region has 96 members operating 475 airports in 47 countries.  According to the ACI World Airport Traffic Report 2009, the airports in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions handled 1.40 billion passengers, 32.8 million tonnes of cargo and 13.3 million aircraft movements.
